Kinsman & Associates has served as engineering consultants to this large school district on numerous and varied projects including the design and specification of a district-wide energy management system (EMS) which now controls and monitors energy usage at over sixty schools, offices, and district buildings. Other projects have included district-wide lighting efficiency improvements, boiler conversions, replacement of rooftop package units, condenser modifications, piping and plumbing replacement, cooling tower replacement, chemical ventilation studies, fire system inspections, sound system upgrades, and special studies such as reduction of noise/vibration from a mechanical room and indoor air quality design improvements, etc. Kinsman engineers also performed energy audits on thirty-two schools.
