Oncor, the electric delivery division of TXU, offers an energy efficiency incentive program to institutions seeking to reduce peak electrical demand. Project incentives are paid on the basis of verified peak demand and energy savings. The measurement and verification of claimed savings continue for up to twelve months after project implementation.

Oncor contracted with Kinsman & Associates to conduct independent pre-retrofit inspections of electric consumers that applied for incentives to verify existing conditions at each site. Our engineers then perform randomly selected “spot checks” on Oncor incentive clients to verify that the lighting and mechanical renovations have been completed.

Nexant, Inc. has asked our engineers to perform pre- and post-retrofit inspections under their separate but similar contracts with Oncor.
