ADMINISTRATIVE EXPERIENCE:
Ms. Thompson serves as a senior secretary and administrative
assistant for Kinsman & Associates, Consulting Engineers.
She is an accomplished secretary, bookkeeper, and administrative
assistant to the president and vice president of our firm.
Because of her administrative talent, she has also taken
on technical administrative responsibilities on some of
our existing contracts. In this role she routinely handles
communications with analysts and engineers, energy managers,
and state program managers. Ms. Thompson also keeps track
of the project activities and drafts monthly and quarterly
reports to our clients. She is also responsible for coordinating
on-site visits and travel arrangements for our technical
staff. She is available to receive and transmit messages
to our project managers.
Ms. Thompson’s responsibilities also include coordination
of our secretarial workload; proofing and editing of reports,
specifications, and other correspondence; preparation
of payroll, bookkeeping records, and federal tax payments
and reports; and managing personnel and human resource
activities for our firm.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:
Ms. Thompson has over twenty-five years of experience
in the secretary/administrative assistant field. Her experience
ranges from working for a Vice President of a large communications
firm with the responsibility of approximately 140 engineers
to working for a single attorney for a major insurance
company.
OTHER SKILLS:
Ms. Thompson’s software skills include: Corel WordPerfect,
Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft
PowerPoint, and QuickBooks Pro.
