ENGINEERING CONSULTING EXPERIENCE:
Mr. Jensen has been a consulting engineer since
1975. During his career, his two specialty areas have
been HVAC design and energy conservation. His varied analyses
and designs have been included in both new and existing
facilities that support health care, communications, manufacturing,
education, retailing, apartments, shopping centers, housing
developments, restaurants, and business offices. Projects
include: Single-story office buildings for various owners;
Bally Health Clubs; Independent School Districts of Dallas,
Plano, Terrell, Buffalo, Nacogdoches, Center, Hubbard,
DeSoto, Lake Dallas, Mabank, and Red Oak; Payless Shoe
Stores throughout the southern United States, Puerto Rico,
Virgin Islands, and Mexico; Rockwell International; Greyhound
Bus Lines; Motels for various owners; Valley Ranch Library;
apartment complexes throughout the state of Texas including
the University of Texas at Dallas; correction facilities
for Tarrant County; large housing developments for the
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Ft. Riley, Kansas; Ft.
Bliss, El Paso, Texas; and Dyess Air Force Base, Abilene,
Texas. In recent years Mr. Jensen has been responsible
for the complete MEP design of large multifamily complexes
throughout Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma. His responsibilities
included preparation of contract documents and construction
monitoring. In addition, Mr. Jensen has served as a consultant
to the State of Texas and the U.S. Department of Energy.
OTHER ENGINEERING EXPERIENCE:
Prior to becoming a consultant, Mr. Jensen served
as Vice President of King Republic Construction Company,
Inc. He also owned and operated his own HVAC design and
contracting company, and was a design and sales engineer
for The Trane Company. While employed by the King Republic
Construction Company, Mr. Jensen was responsible for design
and construction of restaurants and large commercial warehouses
in Texas, Utah, Mississippi, Oklahoma, and New Mexico.
